With Democrats and liberals crying racism on a daily basis, it is clear that they have no intention of running on their record. The Obama agenda has damaged Democrats, both from exposing Democrats for who they are, they are not the JFK Democrats, and showing what they will do to pass agenda items that we, the people, just cannot stomach. They went all “Damn the Torpedoes, Full Speed Ahead” on us. They had to use bribery, lies, backroom deals and parliamentary tricks. Nancy Pelosi said the the most inane thing, “We have to pass the bill (health care takeover) so you can see what’s in it, away from the fog of controversy.”

She missed the point, the controversy was them passing the bill through lying, bribing, and trickery. They have already started talking about the public option. They know they already got us. They passed a health insurance company destruction program. It will raise the costs for most people, as analyzed by economists, it will cost more than stated to help the ‘chronically uninsured’, it creates a tax on the uninsured that is much less than a policy, while requiring insurance companies to sell policies at regulated prices, and no pre-existing conditions can be considered.

The idea is to create a government insurance company to funnel us into. Barack Obama said it had to be done incrementally. The first increment is done. We, the voters, have only ourselves to blame for this. We elected these guys.

The President is a hard left ideologue, he cares more about his agenda no matter that we are in a recession. I believe he thinks it will help keep Democrats in power. It seems more and more that Democrats are going to get thumped.

I can’t speak for any one else, but I can point out something that is weird to me. Why is it that liberals unload hate on the people who express ideas they disagree with? If you don’t like an idea of the tea party, why call some one a tea bagger? Why not just refute the idea with facts? Don’t hate the person, hate the idea.

Another example is climate change. It is clear humans have a massive impact on our environment, good and bad. It is clear that the climate changes, that it has for millions of years, and that we have 9,000 years more warming on the 20,000 year climate cycle we used to teach in school, you know, the one that had glaciers in Kentucky. 11,000 years ago the climate stopped cooling and started warming on the 20,000 year upswing, who knew that 11,000 years in the extreme left in this country would seize on it to control people’s behavior? Either way, the extreme left will have 9,000 years of warming to bolster their claims. We will all be dead by then, it will be hard to prove them wrong. It took a long time to prove that thunderstorms are just weather events, not acts of god which allow the ‘chosen’ to receive tithes. It took a long time to prove that the earth was not the center of the universe.

The adherents in the church of Our Lady of Perpetual Climate Change are doing their very best to attempt to convince you that your actions cause thunderstorms, well that is the analogy, they really want to convince you that your actions are making the earth warm, and that without those actions the earth would not warm. Although we have been told that the earth is going to warm for 9,000 more years, that does not factor in. As with any charlatan, if we change our actions and the earth continues on it’s 20,000 year cycle, the Warmers will make excuses. They can’t explain how the earth warmed and cooled without humans.

Back to my point, lefties call skeptics that humans cause climate change, “deniers”, not attacking the ideas with fact. Why should I believe that the earth is warming? Because, before climate science became politicized, we were told by credible scientists that the eath would by warming for another 9,000 years. That glaciers were in Kentucky and an ice sheet covered the continent. We have 11,000 years to present, why would anyone believe their will be glacier growth in the next 9,000 years?

Please explain why, with increasing emissions, the climate cooled for 30 years from the 1940’s to the 70’s? Please explain the small ice age from 1545 to 1850? How about the medieval warming from 700 to 900 (approx.)?

Just correlate that, plus millions of years of more drastic climate change with no humans to minimal change since humans have been ‘changing the climate’

As to science, back before the hypothesis became ‘humans cause climate change, prove it’, the hypothesis was ‘what causes climate change, let’s find out’.

We need to get back there.

America, votes in November are really coming down to a choice between leaders who offer solutions and hope vs those who peddle division and encourage hatred. Who would have thought that the tactics of Adolph Hitler and Joseph Goebbels would be alive and well under the Repubican banner in the year 2010?

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Let’s see, the tactics of Nazi’s, you mean like attempting to whip up the population into a nationalistic furor against the evil insurance companies on a claim denial rate of 4%?

Or putting Union thugs at town halls to stifle the citizens right to redress a grievance and intimidate them?

Or could it be the celebrations of a movie that portrayed the assassination of George W Bush, a movie so revered that it won awards? With the comment by the film maker,”Who thought people would be upset about a film that portrays assassinating President Bush?”

What about the big lie, the premise, that the whole health care delivery system in the US is broken. With 75-85%(depending on which poll) of the people liking how it works for them, Democrats decided that the whole thing has to change, the lie is that it is broken. For the 15-25% unhappy people we are going to allow the government to cause the destruction of an industry, which facilitates the take over?

Goebbels would be proud of the lies that have been accepted as truths. It does help having a compliant media. The best one is that this law strengthens insurance companies. That one is hilarious.

This is not complicated, there is common sense involved. Don’t get lost here. Under this law, healthy people will have the option to pay a ‘fine’ or tax, since the IRS is going to enforce this, that is way less than an insurance policy. Under this law, people can buy a policy the day they need it, with no pre-existing conditions taken into consideration, what else can you conclude?

Now here’s the common sense part. The fine is supposed to compel you to purchase a health policy. OK, then why is the fine way less than a policy? Why would any of you liberals believe that people would pay three times the fine/tax instead of paying the fine/tax.

That is anti-logic. There is no penalty for paying the fine/tax for 10 years, and then buying ‘insurance’ the day your doctor diagnoses you with cancer. Only an idiot would buy a policy before they need it. Combine that with no maximum benefit, and mandated cost structures, how does this strengthen these companies again?

Another good tactic is violence, since you brought it up. Do you mean violence like when lefties trash cities, as well? Like protests in Seattle, DC, Copenhagen, Milan, and Prague. Look at the anti-war riots in the sixties.

What about the death threats Stupak and others received when he was against the Senate takeover bill for all those long months? That was lefty violence and threats. Not more than a tiny peep about that in the media.

This comes from Speaker Pelosi’s speech today before the Legislative Conference for National Association of Counties. The boldface is mine:

“You’ve heard about the controversies within the bill, the process about the bill, one or the other. But I don’t know if you have heard that it is legislation for the future, not just about health care for America, but about a healthier America, where preventive care is not something that you have to pay a deductible for or out of pocket. Prevention, prevention, prevention—it’s about diet, not diabetes. It’s going to be very, very exciting.

“But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy.”

The president hit the campaign trail because the government takeover of the health care system is at stake.

The government models of insurance – medicare, medicaid, and the VA dept are doing so well, right?

But now is the time to have the government run our health care system, they know better.

I don’t know why there has to be villains here. Insurance companies have a 3.5% profit margin. The most important fact I will discuss.

More sucky facts about insurance companies.

1. Insurance is one of the most heavily regulated industries.

2. Insurance companies are the best documented as to costs and expenses.

3. Insurance companies provide a product for a fee. They do not supply a constitutionally endowed right.

Now, here is the really sucky part for the brainwashed. I am going to stay out of the emotional realm and stick with the factual.

This might seem complicated, but companies, to survive, need to make a profit to survive. A small profit of 3.5% is enough to keep these companies in business, but most companies make a much higher profit.

Aside from demonizing a 3.5% profit margin as immoral and obscene, why is it that if premiums have been going up for 10 years, as President Obama claims, then why haven’t the profits?

I am pretty sure the president has no idea how an actual business works. If your profit remains the same but the premiums that you charge go up, then, and I know this a hard concept, it is likely the costs went up.

So if the costs go up, and the profit remains the same, how can the ‘problem’ be the insurance companies?

Does defensive medicine play a part?

Do lawyers fishing for settlements play a part?

Does malpractice insurance play a part.

Does unhealthy lifestyles of the American people play a part?

How much of the medical costs really come down to the ‘uninsured’?

Has there been an analysis? NO. It is the insurance companies, so claim the Democrats.

Obama wants the house to pass the senate bill. Nancy Pelosi will whip the vote on a lie. The lie is that the ‘fixes’ will be forthcoming to placate the liberal house Democrats and the moderate house Democrats.

The White House had two separate meetings, one with liberals and one with moderates. Why separate meetings? Why segregate the liberals in the morning, and then moderates in the afternoon.

Why is that?

Hmm… I am betting that the ‘fixes’ promised to both were different.

Which means there is no intention of any fixes anytime soon. The President and Nancy Pelosi are lying to the house Democrats. Polling shows that health care needs to be dropped from the public awareness as soon as possible.

When the President says that it is not politics driving this, why have a March 18th deadline?
Why not leave enough time for reconciliation?

Oh, you didn’t realize that reconciliation is not possible. CBO needs to score a reconciled bill (House amending senate bill or reconciling separate house and senate bills). March 18th would not be possible.
I am sure the President and his compliant media just forgot to mention this by accident.

The President and Speaker Pelosi are lying to house members to get them to accept the Senate bill with no amendments. That is the only way it can get to Obama’s desk by March 18th.

The lie is that fixes will be allowed later. House Democrats are being lied to as we type. There will be no fixes unless Democrats gain seats in the next election, highly unlikely given the fact that Democrats are ignoring the voters right now.

Then, if any, the fixes will be the liberal fixes that the President and Speaker Pelosi promised the liberal Democrats, they plan on screwing the moderates no matter what.

The President does not seem to care about whether house Democrats win re-election.

If the house passes the senate bill, that will be it. Done! Final! No more Debate! The President rolls out a dog of a lwa that screws most of us and kills private insurance companies.

Oh, you did not understand how it kills insurance companies?

Democrats got smart after the house bill, that one actually made private insurance illegal after 5 years. The senate bill simply kills private insurance, but only after premiums go up, due to people willing to pay the fines on the uninsured outlined in the law that cost way less than a health insurance policy, thus making sure the customer base of private companies drops. Fines for individuals based on income levels, and per employee fines for businesses will grow government coffers and it is doubtful that these fines will pay for health care, as the language of the bill does not specify whether it pays as premiums or directly to health care providers.

I am surprised that house Democrats did not see the ruse when separate meetings were called for liberals and moderates.

It might just be the case that the reason politicians think we, the voters, are stupid
due to projection. The pablum sounds good to themselves, so they we will believe it.

Today’s big lie from Obama:

Obama revived his tired criticism of Washington culture. He is Washington. He is political. He was projecting.

Besides helping President Obama implement his vision of ‘Strength through Weakness’. Holder basically called US Citizens racist cowards. I hope he meant all citizens, but I don’t believe it.

Actual quote “Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and I believe continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards,” said Holder, nation’s first black attorney general.

Ok we don’t talk enough. How about stop being a victim? Stop advocating that having dark skin makes you a victim.

I realize that only some of the above might apply to any one person, and I would hope that anyone reading this would not be teaching their child that doing well in school is ‘acting white’. If it happens in Glen Burnie AA county public schools, I am sure it happens in lots of places.

Mr Holder, however, decided to lump all of us as cowards together as a group without seeing an individual and just make a judgment. That’s what racists do, right?

Sitting here with hindsight glasses, I can see clearly the arrogance in President Obama that I saw first with his comment to then presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton, “You’re likable enough, Hillary”. Now the scary Congress led by House Speaker Pelosi and Senate majority leader Reid has carte blanche to go nuts. President “My Way or the Highway” Obama is in sync with this Congress. Ask if Republicans got to add any amendments, or even have them debated, to the latest ‘economic stimulus’ bill. One person was asked, and one person answered for 435 people. Speaker Pelosi said, we wrote the bill, we won the election, and Republicans had no ideas. Based on 25 years political awareness and common sense, I think we can be sure that she meant no ideas that she liked.

Rahm Emmanual had the essence correct when he said we should never let a serious crisis go to waste. He meant it in a partisan leftist kind of way. More like a ‘ram it down the Republican’s throats and push lefty agenda items through fear’ way than a ‘let’s analyze the root of the problem, and work to repair the damage caused’ kind of way. How did approximately 20% of 300 billion dollars of loans turn into the whole economy crashing?

Partisans in each party point to the other party. The third parties point to the Democrats and Republicans. The government currently is blaming greed in the private sector. I think there is blame to share. Instant gratification has infected our society. If the US stands for any value overall, it is “What have you done for me lately?”. or “Solve my problems right now!”.

We spent four years telling the masses that we are just about in a recession. Almost there, we will surely crash. Now that it has happened, and people decided they did not ‘need’ to have a new car every other year. People decided the did not need a new this or that, my old one is working just fine. If you kill consumer confidence, you kill the economy. 71% of our economy is/was based on consumer sales. Some how, and it is far above my pay grade to figure it out, consumer confidence collapsed.

We certainly have rewarded the Democrats for successfully isolating the previous president from the American public. Demonizing him, taking presidential policies that are disagreed with and turning them into crimes worthy of trials reminiscent of the Nuremburg War Crimes Trials of Nazi War Criminals. Now all the lefties who mobilized millions of votes for President Obama expects President Bush and his administration to be brought up on war crimes charges. I read their blogs. They believe change means radical change. Why would they believe that?

The world will not allow any western military to achieve victory it seems. Israel, in responding to daily rocket barrages, has stepped in it again. Not only are they looked upon as the aggressors, they are looked upon as bullies. Terrorist propaganda masters cannot believe the good fortune (and good press) they have received since Iraq was placed on the election block of 2004. To have a superpower divided internally to the point that our own leaders would seek to undermine the policies of a seated President was unfathomable to them. To have leading statesmen actually express the same things that terrorists use for propaganda must have made them euphoric. Now that Barack Obama is going to take power, he will make it better by unsaying the anti-American things (to be fair, said incorrectly believing them to be anti-Bush at the time) that he and other Democrats said during the last four years.Terrorists:1 US:0 so far. But now that ‘the Obama’ is in charge, he will solve the worlds problems lickity split. The media is on his side, our adversaries are on his side, the American people are on his side, the Asians are on his side, and the Europeans are on his side, how can he fail? Iran, North Korea, and Venezuela will clean up post haste.

Has Hamas released the IDF soldier they kidnapped? Nope

Has Hezzbollah released the two IDF soldiers they kidnapped? Nope.

Yes, a campaign filled with visions of centrist fairies will guide his presidency. What a crock of twaddle. His record, his writings, his history, and his expressed convictions will guide his presidency. His campaign rhetoric in no way matches his actions and record. He is the sum total of his experiences and the crowd he hung with, not the handlers for the last two years.

That was for the centrists that hate Bush. It was all lies, but it sounded good.

He believes the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. How can some one swear to uphold the constitution that believes that?

“Spreading the wealth is good for everybody” – Not the ones having to pay more and not the new dependents on the dole, just politicians.

“From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs”
How is this different?

He will, no doubt, be the man he was before he ran for president, before the great media centrist transformation. He is the community organizer, he is the law professor, he is the state senator and US senator that is all laid bare. His record and actions do not match his campaign rhetoric.

The lovely fawning media will help as they already have by ignoring his lack of experience and expressed ideas. They are back in business, now all they have to do is tow the line and they will get access. They will help him succeed in remaking Amerika.

With these DNC Obama media outlets: CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC, Senator Obama will have little trouble convincing us that higher taxes is the only way to go. He will show those bad guys by abandoning Iraq. He will attempt to appease the Palestinians and Iranians. This has been tried and failed.

It is unbelievable that Pelosi and Reid have been given a rubber stamp.

I wonder what Joe Biden meant when he said we would think that President Obama’s decision would seem like the wrong one.

Maybe he means, in the new ’strength through weakness’ foreign policy, that we roll back to ‘explode and ignore’, which clearly worked from 1975 to 2001.

But I do wonder why he felt the need to tell us that we would think it was wrong.

I am starting to like the ‘tax our way out of this financial crisis’.;) President Obama along with Pelosi and Reid will trample us all.:(

Even though the real right wing nuts are crazy as the left wing nuts, they have the right to spew whatever they want as does the left. The Fairness Doctrine will be put back into place to limit political speech by controlling profits.

The idea is to shut down the opposition. Even Senator Schumer likened right wing talk radio to pornography. Why not left wing talk radio?

Why is it that we heard so little of his years as a professor? How long is it going to stay hidden?

I only hope he was not lying to us about his agenda.
