100 Hours is over!

So far the Dems are bugging me. They haven’t done everything as fast as they said they would. The first 100 hours came and went. “We are going to work five days a week. First week, they get Monday off for a football game () I voted for Ben Cardin, and Al Wynn. They both promised we would pull out of Iraq if they had any say. We gave them a say and now they say, “It’s Bush’s War, so we can’t stop him”. Then they say, let’s limit what Bush can do. But we know that is exactly what the GOP wants. So not only does Bush fail (Yay for Dems), but America fails (Yay for terrorists). There is no way the Dems will take the presidency in 2008 if they did that. They will just continue to say ‘escalation’, ‘quagmire’, ‘new direction’ and hold a lot of hearings. The only new direction I am seeing is fully in the direction of failure. Let’s hope the 110th congress wants America to succeed more than it wants Bush to fail.

Did the people in the moderate states that elected Democrats really know what they did? Did they think that they elected the new direction of failure in Iraq. Iraq was the last election as well. Only then the people we have now as leaders in congress said that America tortures like Saddam starting April 2004. Then Senator Durbin reads a report from an editorializing FBI officer, clearly Durbin agrees enought to read it on the Senate floor, comparing our troops to Pol Pot’s Khmer Rouge, The Soviet Gulags, and Hitler. Are military jails comfortable? I hope not.
