Weird!

When I comment on a right wing blog, the call me a lefty, when I comment on a left wing blog, I am called a wing nut. I do not understand how I can be both. I am me, I have never been anything else. I have held the same world view since 1980, so I am not sure what this means. I must have a center view!

I think that both the left and right are wrong in totality, but not in some aspects of each opinion. I will keep it up. I will keep pissing off the folks at littlegreen footballs as well as the dailykos. I find it amusing.

Common sense is lacking on both extremes. Our political process has separated and divided the US into right and left. then all that happens is arguments. Why can’t common sense be re-inserted into the political dialog?

For instance, there is nothing wrong with abortion. I don’t mind calling it that and I fully understand that life begins at conception. Why must the word ‘choice’ be substituted for abortion? There is nothing wrong with aborting a small mass of dividing cells, certainly the first trimester should have no opponents, but it does. I think a woman can decide in the first three months whether or not to terminate a pregnancy. Why is it that the opponents of abortion wish to do nothing to help a mother that they want to force to have a baby. I certainly think that if you force a woman to have a baby, then you should be willing to pony up some money to help her and the baby.

Why Obama is wrong for our country

He is a breath of fresh air, with no substance. He gives great speeches, and… His platitudes are uplifting, while empty. He engenders change, but to what. He represents the opposite of the status quo, are you sure?

His message has the little guy at heart, exactly how? He has a well spoken wife and an overall attractive family, OK. I like the guy a bunch, again.

He gives you something to be for, what exactly? He contrasts Clinton and Edwards in a way.

He delivers the best 30 second sound bites, backed by what ideas? Clinton is a close second on the sound bites, OK. The rest of the candidates take more time to understand.

Character and vision are the main factors of leadership. Other than judgement, he has an outstanding character. The funky Chicago land deal seems like a mere blip in judgement.
