America, votes in November are really coming down to a choice between leaders who offer solutions and hope vs those who peddle division and encourage hatred. Who would have thought that the tactics of Adolph Hitler and Joseph Goebbels would be alive and well under the Repubican banner in the year 2010?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Let’s see, the tactics of Nazi’s, you mean like attempting to whip up the population into a nationalistic furor against the evil insurance companies on a claim denial rate of 4%?
Or putting Union thugs at town halls to stifle the citizens right to redress a grievance and intimidate them?
Or could it be the celebrations of a movie that portrayed the assassination of George W Bush, a movie so revered that it won awards? With the comment by the film maker,”Who thought people would be upset about a film that portrays assassinating President Bush?”
What about the big lie, the premise, that the whole health care delivery system in the US is broken. With 75-85%(depending on which poll) of the people liking how it works for them, Democrats decided that the whole thing has to change, the lie is that it is broken. For the 15-25% unhappy people we are going to allow the government to cause the destruction of an industry, which facilitates the take over?
Goebbels would be proud of the lies that have been accepted as truths. It does help having a compliant media. The best one is that this law strengthens insurance companies. That one is hilarious.
This is not complicated, there is common sense involved. Don’t get lost here. Under this law, healthy people will have the option to pay a ‘fine’ or tax, since the IRS is going to enforce this, that is way less than an insurance policy. Under this law, people can buy a policy the day they need it, with no pre-existing conditions taken into consideration, what else can you conclude?
Now here’s the common sense part. The fine is supposed to compel you to purchase a health policy. OK, then why is the fine way less than a policy? Why would any of you liberals believe that people would pay three times the fine/tax instead of paying the fine/tax.
That is anti-logic. There is no penalty for paying the fine/tax for 10 years, and then buying ‘insurance’ the day your doctor diagnoses you with cancer. Only an idiot would buy a policy before they need it. Combine that with no maximum benefit, and mandated cost structures, how does this strengthen these companies again?
Another good tactic is violence, since you brought it up. Do you mean violence like when lefties trash cities, as well? Like protests in Seattle, DC, Copenhagen, Milan, and Prague. Look at the anti-war riots in the sixties.
What about the death threats Stupak and others received when he was against the Senate takeover bill for all those long months? That was lefty violence and threats. Not more than a tiny peep about that in the media.
